No you don’t have to get all upset – We’re not splitting up – but the name Face The Music has run it’s course. The problem is – as agents have told us – it doesn’t really say anything about us as a band; and thus going forward we will be known as “The Belinda White Band”.
Here’s the final poster…
No ego trips by our singer, we actually suggested it – but in our experience having the singer named in the title seems to work very well in clubland as they know they’re getting a female fronted band.
So after all the Happy New Years were done and we played an extra song just after midnight (technically making it a two day gig) we packed down and said our good-byes for a few weeks. We’re now having a break as most clubs don’t bother with live bands for a few weeks after new year’s.
Notable things about the gig – the guy in the leather jeans – I think they were leather anyway. He stuck me as a guy whose clothes said “goth” but his appearance said “unfortunately I’ve also got a day job”. He did comment on my piercings and my second set outfit (with the skater style loose leg cargo leathers I wear).
I’m actually thinking of having them altered slightly as I’ve lost even more weight and they’re really loose now, but I love the style. This morning I woke up. I’ll say woke up. I felt like death warmed up. It’s always the way the morning after a gig, especially new year’s as it’s a very energy draining gig.
Today was spent mostly playing games (Elite Dangerous, Choo Choo Charlie) around the cat – she decided that I’m the comfiest cat dad in the world and won’t leave me alone.
Going forward, I’ve now got a webcam for the Steam Deck and I’m hoping to do a few gaming videos (possibly in leather or latex). The fetish gamer. I’m sure it’ll be fun! A YouTube fellow I follow sometimes games in latex. I did try a stream earlier (with a good success level) so I’m going to give it a whirl live soon.
Here’s the photo set from last night. The stage photos were taken very early – the place filled pretty much up to capacity about half an hour later.
You have been busy all last week. Those major fire alarm jobs and then a double gig. No wonder why you felt like death warmed over. That photo said it all. You are as hot as usual in your leather pants.
