Valheim is a game that has evolved from a very average experience to something which stands head and shoulders above many AAA releases.
All created by a very tiny little software house.
We’re about to see this journey unleashed on a whole new set of players as the game heads out of beta very soon and onto general release – including a PS5 version next year.
I feel proud that I’ve been part of this game for many years – even being a judge on one of the build competitions on Valcon earlier this year.
Now I proudly wear my affiliation with a couple of official t-shirts.

So what is the FIFTH age?
Well it’s exactly the same server, except that I’m going to remove all the portals and clear the map. We will have to discover everything again – except that the relics of a previous civilisation will be left behind, although some parts may be broken.
