I know I’ve been before a couple of times, but Papplewick always fascinates me. It’s the Victorian thing for making engineering beautiful. I know cost wasn’t as much of an issue back then, but I do wish modern engineers would pay half the attention to detail that the creators of this amazing machine did.
This amazing pump can move a phenomenal amount of water and indeed for quite a few years supplied a large portion of North Nottinghamshire!
What does a Dalek have to do with the pumping station? Did them use the station to film Dr. Who episodes there. The Daleks should have shown up at parliament and NO. 10 Downing Street and: BREXIT EXTERMINATE BREXXITT EXTERMINATE EXTERRMINNATE!!!
