An advert dropped onto my Facebook last week for Brook Taverner clothing – in particular some rather lovely looking cords. I’ve not worn cords in years but I always remember them being rather lush and comfortable to wear.
I ordered a pair in black (I was tempted by cherry red but resisted as corduroy is so out of mode for me!) and believe it or not they arrived the very next day.
They’re a plain fronted chino style, not jeans – not that this bothers me; although jeans pockets are better at keeping things in them.
I was right. They’re absolutely gorgeous to wear and so comfortable.
I have to say they look good with my nemesis shirt and they do have rather a nice sheen going to them.
