… or at least the general population of Instagram’s is when they saw this photo of me at the gig last night wearing the ASOS black shiny PVC suit. A few of the audience also commented too. I don’t wear it much onstage or off, but last night it just felt right.
My blood pressure, on the other hand (if I started you with the shock title) is very very healthy at 113/73. My resting pulse rate is in the low/mid 60’s which is a far cry from where it was a few years ago (resting at 75 and pressure at 130/90).
The gig itself was really good – the only issue being a power glitch caused by a lightning strike taking down the mixing control surface which then wouldn’t find the mixing desk. It eventually came back online, but it took it’s merry time to do so!
On my gym/health journey, I’m now doing weights, trying to get a six pack – I’m not sure if I will, but I’m doing all the right exercises to try and build my abdominal and chest muscle structure. Sorry chaps and chapesses if you love a cuddly bear, but I have obesity genetics running in my family and I can’t become a fatty for anyone.
Finally, I know I keep saying “no more stretching, no more” but I stretched L2 to 4mm and L3 to 2.4mm. Looking good now with the sizes increasing as they go down.
I’m going to stop declaring “no more” because I’m clearly addicted to it. I’ve vowed never to go past 5mm though.
Anyway, here’s the photos from last night’s gig up in Darlington.
Nice and shiny. Looks great 😊
A strange coincidence. I had exactly the same blood pressure this morning. I have felt for some time now that we are quantum mechanically linked. When something happens to you, it happens to me. I am doing great healthwise for a 72 year old man. You look purple hot in your PVC suit. You probably got a lot of people at your gig’s blood pressure up.
