I’m camping out in a couple of weeks so I thought I’d crank up the stove and make myself some experimental tea.
The Kartoffelpuffen didn’t do too well on the stove, but the scrambled egg and the Sosmix did great.
The stove is a Biolite solid fuel stove. It uses twigs, sticks, pellets, etc and blows air through them using the inbuilt thermal generator to drive the fan. Definitely a recommended system.
On my Oceanographic Survey Ships we had a sensor called Biolite. This data was used to keep Russia and China from tracking our ship movements by satellite and our submarines by having them go deeper than the bioluminescence layer.
From the ingredients used in the potato pancakes and the sosmix I know it would equal Parkin in causing flatulence. You would be on your Fido and suddenly – loooOOOOoooonneeeeeee! That’s what caused the Hall Effect sensor to fail. Farted into oblivion. One whiff of your Fido seat would be near fatal.
But I love Sosmix! 💨
