Well that was Summer. Now Autumn.

We have a funny situation regarding the seasons in the UK. Astronomically my scientific mind says Autumn starts at the autumnal equinox which is around the 20th of September; but Meteorological autumn begins on the first of September according to our Met office – and these days that’s the one being used by the general public.

So it’s the first of September and welcome to Autumn my friends. Yesterday we went to Thrybergh. Thing does open water swimming. I prefer to do my swimming in a gym or a heated pool!

So, I had a rather delicious ice-cream (coconut choc for one scoop, mint for the other) which I ate whilst I had a walk round the reservoir.

I was back a little early and thing was still swimming but I managed to catch some really cool photos of the birds flying overhead. Just pigeons – nothing too fancy – but hey pigeons are still birds!

Tonight is shiny Sunday. I think the blue three piece suit is going to be the order of the day – I’ve got some dressing aid now so the jacket should slide on easily over my shirt too. Yeah it’ll be Zelda. I’m really enjoying my play through.

Gaming in latex gloves… Now that’s something I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do!
